SpaceLinkBW is more than just a rental marketplace — it's a community. We are committed to fostering a respectful, safe, and trustworthy environment for all users, including renters, landlords, property owners, and agencies. These guidelines help ensure that everyone can find their perfect space with confidence.
1. Be Respectful
Treat every member of our community with kindness, professionalism, and empathy. Harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic will not be tolerated. Violations may lead to immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
2. Provide Accurate Information
Honesty is the foundation of trust. All property listings, photos, pricing, availability, and amenities must be truthful and up‑to‑date. Landlords and agencies must not misrepresent property features, location, or rental terms. Renters must provide accurate personal details and inquiry information. False or misleading content will be removed, and repeat offenders will lose platform access.
3. Respect Privacy
Use SpaceLinkBW’s internal messaging and inquiry system for all communications before a rental agreement is signed. Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) in public listings or profile descriptions. Respect others' privacy — do not request unnecessary personal data. Any attempt to bypass our messaging system for spam or fraud is strictly prohibited.
4. Report Violations
If you encounter suspicious, inappropriate, or fraudulent behaviour — such as fake listings, phishing attempts, or abusive messages — use the "Report" button on the listing, profile, or message. You can also contact our support team at support@spacelinkbw.com. All reports are reviewed within 48 hours, and we take appropriate action, including removing content or banning users.
5. Keep Financial Transactions on the Platform
To protect both renters and landlords, all rental agreements and payments should be discussed transparently. While SpaceLinkBW does not currently process payments, we strongly advise never sending money outside of a verified agreement. Be cautious of users who ask for advance deposits without a signed contract or insist on off‑platform communication.
6. No Spam or Solicitation
Do not use SpaceLinkBW to promote unrelated services, products, or websites. Repeatedly sending the same message, posting irrelevant links, or contacting users without a genuine rental interest is considered spam and will result in a warning or ban.
7. Be a Responsible Community Member
Help us keep SpaceLinkBW safe and useful. If you see a listing that violates our guidelines, report it. If you have feedback or suggestions, share them with us. Together, we can build Botswana’s most trusted rental platform.
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@spacelinkbw.com with your account details and a clear explanation.
